Welcome to the Market 96 website. To allow you to access the site, we may collect Personal Information from you. This Privacy Policy defines how Market 96 and our affiliates, including but not limited to Blounts&Moore, LLC and Blounts&Moore Holdings Illinois, LLC (collectively, “B&M/Market 96”, “us”, “our”, or “we”) collect, use, maintain, and disclose Personal Information collected when users (“you,” “your,” or “guests”) visit this website and other websites, mobile sites, domains, information portals, and social media (collectively, the “Site”) controlled by us. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to the Site and communications generated via the Site. This Privacy Policy also applies when you interact with us offline, including but not limited to interactions in our retail stores or at in-person events.

“Personal Information” is information that is associated with your name or personal identity. We do not consider Personal Information to include information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it does not allow a third party to easily identify a specific individual.

By providing Personal Information to us or by using the Site, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy, and you are consenting to the collection, use, and disclosure of that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Additionally, you agree that all information you provide, including but not limited to age, will be truthful and accurate.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Only persons 21 years of age and older have permission to access our Site. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 21 years of age, children, or minors, and we will dispose of any such information if we become aware that it has been provided to us.

We collect Personal Information that you provide to us or the service providers working on our behalf when you visit our Site or retail stores, or otherwise interact with us.

Examples of Personal Information you submit to us or other service providers working on our behalf include but are not limited to name, date of birth, gender, driver’s license or other government-issued ID, residence address, email address, phone number, account credentials, purchase information (including billing address and payment details), preference information, website or social media information, job or occupation, and income or salary range.

Personal Information may be provided by you in response to specific questions when you sign up for newsletters or other communications from us, make purchases, or communicate with us in person or by email. To better serve you, we may periodically ask you to participate in a survey whereby we ask questions to help us understand your general views, preferences, behaviors, opinions, and interests as they pertain to our products and services.

You can always refuse to provide Personal Information in response to requests, except it may prevent you from engaging in transactions, Site-related activities, or from receiving responses to your inquiries or other information of interest such as our newsletter or Guest Loyalty Program. Optional information requests will be indicated when collected.B&M/Market 96 may offer you financial incentives like discounts or other benefits for the collection, retention, and use of your Personal Information in connection with our Guest Loyalty Program or consumer surveys. Your participation in our loyalty program and any consumer survey is completely voluntary.

B&M/Market 96 will not request Personal Information that we deem to be inappropriate from you.  Please do not send inappropriate Personal Information about yourself or others on or through the Site.

Internet And Network Activity
We collect Personal Information automatically gathered from your devices as you visit our Site. This Personal Information includes but is not limited to your browser name, demographic data, pages you visit on the Site, previous Site access, date and time information, your computer’s IP (Internet Protocol) address, type of computer, technical information about your means of connection to the Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service provider, and navigational data (also known as log files, server logs or clickstream data). 

Other Information
Illinois state law requires that we capture closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage within our retail stores. This footage will include images of all customers and others who enter and interact with us in those retail stores.

We collect information you enter or provide to us when you register an account, make a purchase, contact us, submit an inquiry or report a problem, sign up for our communications, participate in a survey, or otherwise provide your information to us.

From Combined Information & Inferences

B&M/Market 96 may collect and use Personal Information for the following purposes:
To process transactions and improve the shopping experience. We collect Personal Information when purchases are made at a retail location that are required to process your orders or respond to your service requests. In addition to utilizing this information to fulfill your requests, we may use information collected during these transactions to analyze and improve our services. In conducting these activities, B&M/Market 96 does not store, archive, or otherwise retain credit card numbers.

To improve the functionality, appearance, relevance, or other aspects of Site. We use the information we collect to customize your experience so that your visits to the Site are relevant and valuable to you.

To verify and to efficiently respond to your requests for information, services, or assistance.

To share periodic information and updates that we think may be relevant or of interest to you, such as our newsletters, upon your request or otherwise as consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Marketing Emails
To opt-out, follow the instructions within the emails you receive from us or email us at [email protected]. When communicating via email, please include the words “Opt Out” in the subject line and specify that you do not want to receive marketing emails.  Even if you opt-out of marketing messages, we will still send you transactional or operational emails. These include purchase or shipping confirmations, password resets, profile updates or other account related messages.

You can opt-out of receiving text messages from us by texting STOP or following the link at the bottom of any text.
